Your main task will be to optimize project costs, manage tenders, oversee procurement processes, ensure budget is adhered, while
collaborating with other departments to ensure cost effective solutions.

Summary of tasks:

• Analyse technical drawings to provide cost efficiency
• Participate on the new acquisitions
• Preparation and management of tender for the contractors (including statements of quantities)
• Negotiation, Price comparison lists, cost estimations,
• Market analysis of construction costs in the CZ market
• Claim management, Oversee the procurement
• Collaboration with project managers, architects, and engineers
• Control of invoicing, Review of final billing of works and supplies
• Diligent reporting into the firm´s system of project budgets
• Ensuring budget adherence

Ideal profil:

• University degree in civil engineering, construction or similar
• around 10 years of experience in cost management (development or construction)
• understanding of procurement, contract a cost management processes
• understanding technical drawings for a purpose of cost optimization
• knowledge of construction costs of all types of buildings
• experience of working with bills of quantities and budgeting
• very good command in English or German
• excellent knowledge of MS programs (office, excel) and CAD
• communication and negotiation skills
• great attention to detail and analytical approach
• proactivity and independence in work

Ideal profile

Around 10 years of experience in Cost management in either development or construction, fluent English or German, knowledge of construction costs of all the types of buildings, independence and diligence.
